Hello, my name is Alaces Jewel Sarmiento, and this is my personal digital media portfolio! If there’s a few things I’d like you to take away about me, it’s the following:

Musician: I have studied classical voice for the past 10 years, and have a love for teaching music theory. While I don’t primarily study music, it has been part of my life no matter what I am doing. Performing is in my blood, and storytelling through music is my purpose.

Advocate: I believe that everyone has a voice, and you deserve to have it be heard no matter what. Telling stories and sharing experiences with one another is the best way to build authentic human connection, and if you need help doing so, allow me to be of service.

Community Leader: I’ve always believed in the idea of leaving a place better than you found it. While that quote was originally meant for the environment, it also applies to the communities you join. Be active in them, work together, and see how much you can accomplish with those you love.
