Artificially SCAD is a podcast hosted by graduate students Sarah Ozga, Chris Emond, Alaces Jewel Sarmiento, and Dorren Allen-Carr. The four seek to provide informative conversation on artificial intelligence, technology, and media, while keeping it fun, entertaining, and relatable. Each episode features a subject that relates to how AI and technology are currently utilized in media and society with each student featuring the following lens: Sarah – Feminism, Chris – Philosophy, Alaces Jewel – Case, and Dorren – Religion.
On this final episode of Artificially SCAD, Sarah and Alaces use their lens of feminism and race to talk about how AI and technology are present in social media and gaming. One interesting side talk the team gets on is the popular game, Overwatch 2, and its lore-filled storyline despite it being a first person shooter game.
